are you getting this:

Most likely it is not a password problem, but a download that was corrupt.
Open Winrar, select "commands" drop down list , "test archived files" to find out
what file/files are giving you this error.
If you identified the problem link do one or more of the following:
1-"winrar repair" the specific file
2-RE-Download the problem link and that should fix your problem.

Got a annoying problem here with the razor install. Problem? It... ehm .. doesn`t work !
The razor installer installs smoothly untill it hits the 100% ( or 99.99%.. I have no idea) and it says `Executing “DXSetup”, please wait…`. This stays for a while untill razor installer doesn`t respond anymore and my entire pc crashes (screen freezes, unable to anything. Mouse does not move, keyboard nonresponsive,...). Has anyone heared about this problem with a razor installer before ? Is it fixable ?
I hope that you, Tooth, or anyone else can help me with this. *cry*

Could it be that I need to install Steam maybe?

ps: I did test archives, no problems there.
EDIT: Disabling antivirus and firewall did the trick to not crash the installer at the end ( I am using Bullguard)

Looks like im the only one here with my problem. The game crushes just after the Skyrim logo shows up with no error message. I reinstalled the game and I followed the instructions but nothing changed. I installed the latest ATI graphics card driver, tried to run the game in compatibility modes, ran as admin none of thees helped. Any suggestion would be appreciated!

In someone else's topic, this happened a lot and apparently was fixed with the following:
Go into Sound (through control panel) > click on your device > Properties > 'Advanced' tab. Change the Default Format to 16 bit, 44100 Hz.

Hope this doesn't happen to me because I'm already on that setting, but I hope it works for you
